Mabou Gaelic & Historical Society

A new logo for an old society. The Mabou Gaelic & Historical Society prides themselves on their preservation of the Gaelic language and history in Nova Scotia. The logo had to represent the past but also feel fresh enough to take up space in the present moment. I decided to create the logo in the style of a woodcut print. Bold enough for the present while harping back to traditional printmaking.
